Michael is a native of Southwest Florida and currently practices law in Tampa, FL at Greenberg Traurig, P.A. Mike attended Florida State University where he studied Political Science and Criminology. He then attended law school at the University of Florida and graduated in 2019.

Demaio has a passion for helping people and uses his expertise in Florida Law to improve the quality of life for as many people as he can. His ambitions to be a part of an organization that supports children with developmental disabilities is what brought him to 21&Change.

Michael’s younger brother is what really inspired MIke to take action. As someone who shared a household with a child with a developmental disability, he understands the hardships of families very well. He was introduced to 21&Change after he attended the Annual Champions for Change event with his younger brother there as a participant of the event. The sense of community at the event moved him deeply and inspired him to look into the mission of 21&Change. When he learned 21&Change advocates for children with developmental disabilities, he recognized right away that this was something he wanted to be a part of.
