21 & Change plans to unveil a scholarship program for families in the Greater Tampa Bay-St. Petersburg area in the Spring of 2019.  We plan to assist parents who require full-time, professional IEP Advocate services, but due to financial income or hardship, may not be able to afford these services with incremental scholarships to offset or fully cover their needs.

We will help families who require some extra financial assistance, or due to special circumstances, cannot afford IEP advocate services.  Scholarships will be provided to those deemed most in need and will be awarded in the amount of $250, $500, or a maximum of $750 for an IEP Advocate.  Requirements for the scholarship award would be based on services required, annual income, and any other pertinent issues bearing on the problem.

Applicants will be required to provide the necessary information for our Board of Directors to approve the release of funds to the provider for the required services.  21 & Change will work closely with the local IEP Advocates to identify qualified families and pay for services directly to the provider.  Scholarships are only approved for services from specified providers.
